Ouija Board was the opening film of the
festival!
We had our
screening at the Phoenix Fear Film Festival at the weekend.
Word on the street is the film went down well with the
audience and "that" scene at the end received a big cheer from
the crowd! The film also received a Honorable Mention for
"best use of an electric toothbrush"....hahaha...oh well, so
much for all those years thinking my first feature would win
me an Oscar!

Horror movie website TrashCity.org has reviewed
Ouija Board and said the film :
"delivers a solid mix of chills
and scares"
and
"given this was funded on a fistful of credit-cards, it's
better constructed than many: you certainly shouldn't find
yourself "board". [Sorry...]"
And they've given it an awesome B- rating!

from the apple website. I'm going to get the trailer on
youtube when I get some free time but sadly I will have to do
a re-edit to cut out some of the nudity to meet youtubes
rather strict guidelines.

work.

FEB 2009:
New website Launched
A few late nights and here it is,
the new Ouija Board website. We'll be adding to this over
time. I want to build up a detailed look back over the entire
process of making the movie. Mainly to remind myself of all
the hard work and misery - just incase I start thinking about
making another film, but also to give anyone thinking of
making their own micro-budget feature a idea of how we did it
with a few tips. If anyone does want some filmmaking advice

DEC 2008:
DVD extras almost complete
We've almost finished editing the
special features for the dvd. There's absolutely loads of
behind-the-scenes footage and we've got interviews with the
cast and some other surprises too.
OCT
2008: Score complete
Alex Zaven Taylor has done a cracking job
creating the music for the movie. It adds sooo much to the
film, we are all really happy with it. It's all coming
together now and I can't wait for other people to get to see
the film.
AUGUST 2008: Editing almost complete
There's bound to be a few more tweaks but the
film is pretty much edited now. During filming I thought I
would get it all cut in a couple of weeks...HA!!!! Try a
coupla years more like!!!
